Amanda and Jason had planned and postponed their big wedding not once but twice due to the pandemic and while planning it for the third time, they decided to elope at this beautiful a-frame cabin, nestled in the woods in Southern Ontario at this beautiful a-frame cabin, Back to the Cabin, and have a reception with friends and family afterwards. I was beyond excited to photograph their elopement.
To start, Amanda and Jason spent the morning soaking in this beautiful wood fired, cedar hot tub. They took time to start the day slowly, and it was the perfect way to start an elopement with intention and connection. After their relaxing dip, they got ready together in the cabin loft under the dreamiest light exchanged vows surrounded by trees swaying in the wind. Feeling all the post ceremony feels, these two ventured off into the forest to explore and walk along (and in!) the river. They tucked back into the cabin and danced together listening to one of their favourite records and ended their elopement day changing into something cozy with no plan except to cuddle next to the crackling fire, surrounded by candles, basking in all the love.
